All Galway Business School programmes are taught and assessed in English. Applicants whose first language is not English will need to provide evidence of English proficiency at a level appropriate to honours degree study. Accepted forms of evidence and required levels are set out in our English Language Policy.
International applicants must demonstrate equivalent academic qualifications and English language proficiency. English language proficiency at CEFR B2+ is required, evidenced by IELTS 6.0+ or an equivalent score in another approved test. Conditional offers are available where applicants undertake the GCI Pre-Sessional English Programme to reach the required level prior to enrolment.
Read our English Language Policy
If you would like to develop your English before or alongside your studies, our colleagues at Galway Cultural Institute offer a full range of programmes designed to support academic English, including pathway options into GBS degree programmes.
