All learners travelling to Ireland must bring their passport with them. Please ensure that you check your passport a month prior to arrival to ensure your passport is in date. It is advisable that passports should have at least six months of validity when traveling.
- All students must have a valid passport to travel to Ireland. Your passport should be valid for more than six months after arrival. For EU students a valid national ID card may be enough.
- Please be sure to check, double check and triple check.

Non-EU student Passport Requirements
- For non-EU students, we ask that you bring your passport with you on your first day so that we can take a copy of it for our records.
- We also need to check the visa that you received at the airport and that it is correct with the authorities.
- It is a Visa requirement that all non-EU learners’ passports should be valid for more than six months after arrival into the country.
- Please bring your passport and Visa to the Galway Business School on your first day as we need to take a photocopy for our records and ensure everything is in order with the authorities.
