Orientation

The Galway Business School Orientation aims to provide students with key information which will assist them throughout their course. You will have the opportunity to meet the rest of your classmates, lecturers and the GBS academic team before you attend your lectures. 

At orientation, you will receive your course handbook which will provide extensive details in regards to your course and school policies and procedures. In addition to this, you will receive your lecture timetable. You will be given time to read the documentation and staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

The final part of orientation includes a training session on our Visual Learning Environment platform, Moodle, and on our online library EBSCO. Both are vital to your learning experience at GBS. The day concludes with a guided tour around the Galway Business School to show you all the school's facilities.
