Building upon the foundations of marketing, this module will examine the strategic importance of marketing. The module focuses on understanding the management of the marketing function, the development of the marketing strategies and the practice of marketing in terms of maximising value for customers and other stakeholders.

Digital Marketing (10 ECTS)

You will analyse the current digital marketing landscape and the evolution of digital marketing as part of the marketing mix within a company. You will also understand and analyse the challenges posed by the digital context in which many businesses are now operating

Employ CSS Web Page Styling
Website Creation Tools
Domain Names and Hosting

International Marketing (10 ECTS)

On this module, you will understand the internationalisation process for any organisation. You'll research the importance of the blending of the international marketing mix in-order to operate effectively and efficiently will be strategically analysed.

Marketing Mix

Course Structure and Award

The Certificate in Marketing Management will be delivered over a semester (18 weeks, including exams). 

You will be assessed using a combination of exams and continuous assessment throughout the semester.

On completion, you will receive a QQI Certificate in Marketing Management at level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications.

Entry requirements

Students are required to have a Leaving Certificate 5 passes or High School Diploma equivalent and are required to have an English Language qualification at CEFR B2 or above.

English language classes at the start of the programme are obligatory for non-native speakers.
