Our popular Business Communication course will provide you with the fundamental business communications skills to help you not just survive, but really thrive in any work environment. In our changed world, where businesses are facing significant challenges, there is an increased need to communicate effectively with a clear understanding of what others want to hear. The very way we communicate with each other has changed radically as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. With fewer face-to-face meetings likely to become part of everyday life, the need to communicate effectively in less-than-optimal ways is the new normal.
The programme will help you to communicate confidently with your business peers and managers and put forth your ideas and solutions positively. In addition to this, you will contextualise ‘comms’ within the wider field of marketing to connect this already very effective business communication course to an understanding of your clients’ or colleagues’ needs and wants.
This certificate course is available for funding under the Springboard initiative.
It's FREE for all applicants regardless of your employment status.

If you’re from Ireland yourself, you’ll possibly be taking for granted our rich culture and heritage when it comes to telling a story, and sharing information verbally. But a great talker is not always a great communicator, and in business, we need to discern carefully between the two.
If you’re working in an organisation when everyone is happy to chat, how do you see the wood for the trees? There are times when clear, incisive business communication is a must, and this course makes sure you know what that should sound like.
That said, it’s of great value that the Irish have a certain amount of confidence when a story needs to be told, and if you’re an international student considering this communications course in Galway, Ireland, then it’s likely you’ll be carried along on a wave of confidence, so that your own ability to speak to others increases more than you can image. And enhanced communication skills aren’t just needed at work.
You’ll also have a great time meeting local people, on the course or in the pub afterwards.
