The Bachelor of Business (honours) with International Business is accredited by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI). This one year add-on to your existing Level 7 degree will further enhance your qualifications to a more competitive Level 8 degree. The programme focuses on business management in an International context. Emphasis will be placed on examining how international organisations perform, effective management styles required in international business and appropriate business strategies that will achieve positive results. The overall objective of the programme is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to carry out management roles different sector within small and mediums businesses (SMEs), and multinational organisations, in a the global context.

If you have already completed an ordinary or pass degree, at level 7 of the National Framework of Qualifications you can gain entry directly onto the Bachelor of Business with International Business.
For non-native speakers of English a level of 6.5 IELTS + or its equivalent is required.
You may also apply as a Mature Student (23+), where your work experience, previous courses and qualifications will be taken into consideration during the application process. Mature applicants must have qualifications and experience deemed equivalent by the QQI approved Recognition of Other Learning (ROL) and Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) policies of the college.

GBS Application ProcessThe Bachelor of Business (honours) with International Business part-time programme takes place two evenings a week over two semesters. Workshops, tutorials, company visits and guest speakers will be introduced throughout the course to enrich the learning experience.
An emphasis is placed on the practical application of theory to assist learners in gaining a better understanding of how to apply the theory they learn to real world situations. To support this student will partake in; investigating real-life case studies, on-line simulations, individual and group projects, and cross-modular projects.

TimetablesStudents are assessed continuously throughout the course and assessments can take the form of individual and group projects, presentations, mock interviews and written examinations.
Graduate of this programme will have the knowledge and skills to confidently apply for positions in a variety of sectors in SMEs or multinational companies and take part in operations in the international business arena.
Student who wish to continue in their studies can progress on to the GBS Postgraduate Diploma in Management or apply for entry to Master programmes in other third level institutions in Ireland or worldwide.
