The Galway Business School offers a part-time Bachelor of Business degree programme in Galway, Ireland. Our EU students have the option to complete the Bachelor of Business Level 7 degree programme on a part-time basis in the evening time. The Bachelor of Business undergraduate degree is accredited by Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI). It provides modern, interactive and innovative material, and delivery methods, to ensure you are prepared for the ever-changing business world. The Bachelor of Business degree programme is designed to develop employment focused transferrable skills that you can use in any business sector. In addition to this you will learn how to analyse and put forth solutions to diverse business problems.

The Bachelor of Business degree programmes entry requirements require students to hold a minimum of 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate O6 /H7 or a High School equivalent.
Galway Business School also welcomes applicants who hold a full FETAC Level 5 award (8 modules).

Mature Students (23+)
Mature students will be considered on the basis of their previous education, work experience and demonstration of their competence to undertake the programme.
Mature applicants must have qualifications and experience deemed equivalent by the College’s QQI approved Recognition of Other Learning (ROL) and Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) policies.

The Bachelor of Business Part-time course runs over two evenings per week during the academic year. The course is developed to provide Blended Learning so course material is delivered through Face-to-face learning and online e-tivities. Learners will benefit from a practical application of the theory through the mediums of case studies, group activities and research projects.
To further enrich the learning experience a number of workshops, tutorials and company visits will be arranged during the year to enrich the learning experience. This will be supported by business simulations and projects on new business development to promote creative and innovative thinking.
Students will be assessed in a number of different ways throughout the course. Assessments can take a number of forms such as; Written examinations, individual and group projects, presentations and mock interviews.

Well the answer is that on completion of a Bachelor of Business degree programme a number of options are open to you. A Bachelor of Business is the first step in a successful career in business. Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Level 7 degree can progress on to the Level 8, Bachelor of Business (honours) with International business degree programme. This one year add-on can enhance your career abilities greatly. You may also apply for other programmes in higher level colleges in Ireland or internationally.
